This show was a blast !
Though, Chris had some technical difficulties during the second set. I thought we did very well...
Apparently, the manager of the venue thought we were pretty good, as he wants us to play there on a regular basis...

Coming off the difficulty of the previous night, we toned down our enthusiasm a bit, and focused on the songs really do well.
And this time we rocked the house, all the way thru !!!
I guess I'm alone in this, cause all the other band members say they just weren't feeling it...

Overall the show was fun, but I'll tell you...
It was more like SpinalVyne for me.
The first chord of the first song, I broke a string. So I limped thru the song
Then when I switched guitars for the remainder of the set, I couldn't get my tone right, I fought feedback the entire time.
During the break I restrung the original guitar, and reset my tone for the next set.
In the next set, I lost my place coming out of the lead break of the first tune, and was playing out of key for a measure or 2, thankfully the rest of the set went off without a hitch.
By the end of the 2nd set, I was in my groove, and ready for the 3rd set.
We kicked ass thru the first couple songs of the 3rd set.
And then the metal gods punished us, and we totally trashed the 3rd song, it was ugly, but by this time, the majority of the people in the bar were pretty smashed and probably didn't care.
So we finished out the set, where I broke another string on the last song.
After, the proprietor of the bar got up on the stage and we back him on a song, and the other guitarist broke a string near the end of the song...
I guess we all have those nights - But like I said, it was a lot of fun... It's good to be able to laugh at the tough times...

So I got an 80gig Zune for Fathers Day...
I really like the size of the screen compared to the comparable Ipod, but I immediately started to have battery issues.
It would die after just a couple hours.
After searching for info, I found a few discussion sites, talking about the same issue. I tried several of the suggestions I found, but nothing really worked.
After a few days, the unit just died...
So I took it back to the place of purchase, they replaced it without question. I asked if they had been having these returned alot, but they hadn't.
Oh well, maybe this unit just had a faulty battery, because the replacement ROCKS !!!
I'm getting exceptional battery life out of this one, I've only had to charge it every few days or so since...
